"OK, so we got our circle, and our square, on two different layers. And, what we want to do now, is we just want to do a simple animation. So, the thing to remember with animation, "is" at the very, very, basic level, anytime any animation is done, whether it's hand drawn, computer generated, or flash. Which I guess is computer generated. You need to know what a key frame is. And, a key frame is basically something that says, at this time, you will be in , you will be in this state. And then everything between key frames, the computer can animate. So, for example, at frame one, we want our square to be right here. Then, at frame ten, we're going to add a key frame, which is insert, time line, key frame. I believe the short cut is F6, but, we'll go, we'll use this for right now. And then we've created another key frame, but we haven't done anything. So, what we need to do, is move this, and you'll notice that the circle has disappeared, because it does not exist, cause we haven't given it a frame. So, it only exists on frame one, on frame two it disappears. You see that right here. So, this gray fill tells you, that it is on the stage. Remember, "wha", this is like a theater, this is the stage. These are our actors. Circle actor is on stage for frame one, but off stage for frame two. Square actor is on stage the entire time, until frame ten, where he moves over here, but then on frame eleven he disappears. Now, what we're going to do though, is tell the computer to interpolate and move Mr. Square, between frame one and frame ten. So, the way that we do that, is we go modify, time line. Actually, I don't even remember. Create motion tween, then we're moving between these two states. Let's do the same thing for Mr. Circle. So, we copy Mr. Circle, paste him over here, should hit F5 to create a key frame, or F6 to create a key frame, then move him over here. Right click motion tween. So, we just created our first motion tween."
