"During the cold months, heaters and lack of humidity can dry out your skin. But there are ways to avoid dry skin during the winter. I'm Jackie Silver from Aging Backwards with how to avoid dry skin during the winter months. Try coconut oil for a natural skin moisturizer with no added chemicals. You know your skin is your largest organ, and it will absorb whatever you put on it. After applying the coconut oil, be sure to wait a few minutes before getting dressed. It might stain your clothes. Use a quenching lip balm to keep your lips hydrated as well. When you go outside in cold weather, cover up as much as possible to shield your skin from the harsh skin and wrap a scarf around your lips. When you're indoors, you can use a humidifier to add moisture to the room. Or if you don't have one, you can boil a pot of water for the steam. But be sure to watch the pot so you don't start a fire. Remember to avoid dry skin during the winter months, keep your skin hydrated with natural coconut oil. Use lip balm to avoid chap lips. And use a humidifier indoors to keep moisture in the room. I'm Jackie Silver on how to keep your skin moisturize in the winter months. Thanks and have a great day."
