Use a broad spectrum sunscreen with a sun protection factor or SPF of fifteen or higher on your face, neck, chest and hands. These are the first places to show age on most people. Wear a wide brim hat and long sleeves when you are going to be exposed to direct sun for long periods of time. When purchasing skin care products, check the list of ingredients and avoid products containing alcohol, menthol, fragrances and other artificial ingredients. Our skin is our largest organ and it will absorb up any chemicals that you put on it. Hydration is key to avoiding wrinkles. So keep your skin moisturized. Removing dead skin cells by exfoliating will also help to diminish fine lines.
