"Some people are night owls and can arrange their lives around this trait. For the rest of us, a new job with an early start time, or children who are up at the crack of dawn, make it necessary to learn how to wake up early. I'm Jackie with How to Become a Morning Person. You may not love it, but maybe these tips will help make it easier. Pick a time to get up, and get up at the same time every day, even on weekends. Try to get up fifteen to thirty minutes earlier each week until you meet your goal. Force yourself to get out of bed. Here's a good tip: move your alarm clock so that it's difficult to hit the snooze button, or get one of those that jumps off the bedside table and rolls all over the room. Arrange your schedule so you can go to bed as soon as you get tired. If you have trouble falling asleep, try all natural melatonin, which you can find at your local health food store. Of course, check with your doctor before using melatonin. Don't use your computer or watch TV in the half hour before you go to sleep. Remember, to become a morning person, move your alarm clock, go to bed earlier than usual, wake up fifteen to thirty minutes earlier every day, and don't watch TV or use the computer late at night. I'm Jackie with How to Become a Morning Person. Nighty night!"
