"Your skin is your largest organ. New cells are constantly form and old cells slough off to make room for the new ones. I'm Jackie Silver from Aging Backwards with how to exfoliate your face. Believe it or not, we got a whole new epidermis or outer skin about every month or so. When you exfoliate your skin, you remove the old dead cells and reveal the new healthy cells underneath. This helps to minimize the look of fine lines and wrinkles and gives you glowing youthful skin. To exfoliate, moisten your face with lukewarm water using a soft cloth. Rubbing gentle circles with an exfoliating cleanser, paying special care and not to get too close to your eyes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Hot water is harsh on the skin especially delicate facial skin. Pat dry with a soft towel and follow up with moisturizer containing alpha hydroxy acids to continue the exfoliating process. The acid will help the dead cells continue to slough off. Once a week, try an exfoliating mask. You can make your own by mashing a papaya and smearing it on your face. The enzymes help exfoliate the skin. Rinse thoroughly after fifteen minutes. Remember to exfoliate your face, moisten your skin with lukewarm, rub an exfoliating cleanser in gentle circles avoiding the eyes and follow up with a moisturizer. I'm Jackie Silver with how to exfoliate your face. Have a great day!"
