"Pimples are caused by the overproduction of sebum oil which lubricates the skin and hair. I'm Jackie with how to get rid of a zit. When the skin's pores become clogged with sebum, pimples can form. Talk to your doctor if your acne is serious or you're unable to control it. Apply an ice cube to the pimple and hold it there for a couple of minutes. Repeat this on and off for about ten minutes. Try icing it about three times a day, but don't put anything else on the pimple. The ice water itself is drying the top of the blemish while the intense cold is battling the bacteria. Whatever you do, don't squeeze or pick the pimple. That's a sure way to cause scarring. Keeping your hands off your face as much as possible will also help clear up the pimple and avoid future breakouts. If the pimple has come to a head and looks ready to pop, you can take a tissue or gauze pad and gently push down against the pimple. Do not apply too much pressure. Try to let it pop by itself. Apply a benzoyl peroxide product to the pimple as directed on the label. Remember, to get rid of a pimple, put an ice cube against it on and off for about ten minutes, repeat that three times a day. Once the pimple is ready to pop, use a tissue and press down, not in, apply a drying lotion such as benzoyl peroxide. I'm Jackie with how to get rid oz a zit. Have a beautiful day."
