"My name is Alex and I'm an entry level engineer and working at Weber Eliot Engineers in Eugene, Oregon and I'm going to tell you some of the pros and cons of being an entry level engineer. As an entry level engineer some of the pros would be that you are learning without maybe spending as much on education as you otherwise would. You are learning how to be an engineer essentially but then another pro would be you get a slightly better salary than your average entry level job. You have the, you get to work in the environment of the professional firm which is, which I find is a really good environment to work in. Some of cons would be as an entry level engineer you are not, you're obviously not working at the salary you could have yet. You are not yet licensed so you can't get the good salary and the career salary that you are going to aim for later. That comes in time. Personally it's a sit down job and it's something that you do some indoors and some outdoors but it is not a very active job. So it is something where you really need to be supplementing your lifestyle with some exercise somewhere and being a part time entry level engineer does not afford you that much vacation for that kind of thing. But then if you are part time you have more time to do other things that you want to do."
