Typically most pharmaceutical companies will want to employ individuals who have at least a Bachelor's Degree, although it's not particularly important the field of study. Typically a person is evaluated more on their personality and their selling ability rather than their previous academic experience. It is a fire a very competitive field to enter into with the opportunity for a very salary. Because of that of course a lot of people tend to apply for these positions. Pharmaceutical companies know the type of person that they're looking for. They need a person who is outgoing who can learn, who can take think on their feet, and represent their product line.
