"Hi, my name's Amy Kistler, and I'm going to be answering the question how much money do personal trainers make. This is a difficult question to answer. Personal trainers salaries and the money they make is a huge range, depending on what type of trainer you are. Depending on your location. Depending on what your specialty is. Depending on if you have a degree, depending on if you have a certification. All these things come into mind when it depends on how much money you're going to be making as a personal trainer. For example, if a personal trainer has attended college, and they graduated with a bachelor's degree, and then they also moved on and got a master's degree, they have the chance to make more money than someone does just having a basic certification. It depends also on how much experience you have at a gym, for example. You can make anywhere from $25,000 a year to $55,000 a year. It really depends on where you're working at, location, experience, and all that stuff. In most gyms, personal trainers do not get benefits. However, there is a possibility that this is an option that trainers do, and are able to get benefits from their jobs. In most gyms, you get a salary if you are a fitness director or an aerobics director. However, in most gyms if you're just a plain personal trainer, you normally work on commission, and you have certain hours that you have to come in and promote yourself so you can get clientele. So, at most gyms there are not benefits that you receive with the job. You are able to earn a good amount of personal training if you have some certain qualities. For example, if you have a bachelor's degree, if you have a master's degree, if you are a certified personal trainer, if you have experience. All these things can help you become successful in personal training, and help you earn money that you deserve."
