"As telemarketer or someone in telecommunications the basic wage you can expect to make ranges, basically it depends on the program but it ranges anywhere from like a $7.50 an hour wage to a $9, $9.50 per hour wage. And that will also depend on for example where I work, Dialogue Marketing, our basic, when they start they make $9 an hour and if they're in customer service they'll then, once they graduate training they make $10 an hour. We offer weekend differentials. $1 extra on Saturdays. $2 extra on Sundays. Things like that that are opportunities to make more money depending on the shift that you work. And in the outbound sourcing area where they call customers up or call potential customers up that ranges as well. They'll make anywhere from $9 an hour to $12 an hour depending and then you can add commission on top of that depending on the program. Some people will pull down an extra couple hundred dollars a month if they do really well at collecting the surveys and contacting customers. Or if they are setting up contracts or setting up a new service with a customer and they do really well with engaging a new customer and acquiring their business. So it all depends. And as far as the customer service and the outbound sales field it's always expanding and growing. Obviously there are limitations depending on the different laws that limit telemarketing but as a call center grows and as they acquire new clients because basically how the, usually call center works, they have multiple clients that they service, some of them outbound, some of them inbound. And the way that someone can grow and expand on their career is they build up the skills to excel in the position that they're in and then they work with their supervisor to get extra responsibilities and they can career path themselves into management. That way it's very easy to learn from just watching their supervisor. Their everyday duties, their managers. The CEO's, depending on the company, how small it is, for example Dialogue Marketing we'll see the CEO every couple of weeks or on a weekly basis so we can view them and talk to them and interact and learn from them. So that's how we expand upon our careers."
