"Now as a final touch up as we've gone over the vehicle, we've waxed it now, we've removed the wax, we're just looking for those last details, those things that are going to make it pop and make it look great. If I were a customer, as I go to step in my car, I'm evaluating everything about it, and an extension of the outside of the car is the door jams and the threshold here. In previous segments we've talked about cleaning the threshold, how to do that, how to dress this rubber thing, the rubber bead that keeps the air out. One of my favorite products is called the Showroom Surface Gloss showroom conditioner. It does not have silicon in it so it's not slippery yet it still brings out the richness in plastic and rubber and things like that. So what I like to do, particularly on the driver's side is just a quick coating of this around the thresholds, and I use a microfiber towel, to remove the showroom gloss. Showroom gloss is designed to bring out the richness of pain. It's a supplement after a wax job, you know, between wax coats, you know you can do that. If you wash the car and want to bring it up to its shine you know you can really just apply this just about anywhere. I have friends that use it on their furniture, on their glass, in just about anything. But after I've sprayed that on I just get my microfiber towel and I simply go around the trim on my door and my jams and it bring this back to a bright, clean condition. It looks great, the areas that I've already dressed, you know, still have their dressing on it, but my thresholds, my trim, and this exterior paint that's kind of in this areas still has that nice clean wet look that our customers appreciate, and it's that particular attention to detail that keeps them coming back and tells them about, allows them to tell their friends about your services and what a great job you do. So, pay special attention to these last details as this is what the customer sees as they step into the car."
