"In this segment we're going to cover removing the timing belt cover and this is called the upper timing belt cover and it just protects the timing belt from getting contaminants on it from the engine. The two nuts on top are both 10 mm heads, so I'll just use a socket. Break each one free. Then I'll remove them and they fit in there kind of tight between the vacuum reservoir for the cruise control, the power steering brackets and pump. So sometimes it can be a little bit tricky taking it out. You just got to kind of wiggle it and move it around and you don't want to force or break anything. After you have the two bolts removed, just kind of move it around a little bit, so it breaks free and then just gently slide it straight up and off the two timing belts. So just go ahead and set this aside. That will give us accessibility for the valve cover. Watch our next segment and we'll cover removing the valve cover."
