"I like to keep a full tank of fuel during the Winter months. You never know when you could get caught in that snowstorm, stuck in traffic. It also prevents water condensation from building up in the tank. Another example, this morning I went down the street, gas was $2.99 an hour later when I came back, it was $3.09, it went up three cents a gallon. I should have filled up when I first went down the street. Another good reason to keep a full tank of gas, I got caught in the snow and a forty-five minute ride took me over seven hours to get home, I just made it, I was very lucky. You want to keep your tank filled because water condensation can build up. The gas is in the ground, it's cold, as it comes up you know it's getting mixed with a little bit of air, air carries moisture and ends up in your tank. Eventually you can end up with water in there. They do sell, what's called, dry gas, it's a alcohol base. You could put it, mix it with your fuel once a month and it'll help evaporate the condensation build up in your car."
