"Hi my name is Bob Linde and I'm going to tell you a little bit about the twenty four yang style tai chi set. I've actually been practicing tai chi for about thirteen years now. So one of the questions I frequently get asked is what are the actual health benefits of practicing tai chi. And it's got a number of really well researched health benefits, even the Mayo Clinic at this point is recommending tai chi for balance issues. But we also found that it reduces stress. I've seen people who come in to practice for only a few weeks and their blood pressure starts to come down a little bit. So what I've found is from a physical western medical stand point, tai chi is very effective for, poor balance, for hand eye coordination, and for dealing with stress. And some of the illnesses that come from that. But even more so, from a Chinese medical stand point, we look at flexibility of the body, allowing for the chi to flow freely through the meridians. And so what I really like is that extra benefit from an energetic stand point. Because in this set, we are constantly rotating our arms and stretching out our muscles, we are actually going to allow for that good flow of energy and blood to all of our meridians, through all of our extremities as well as really strengthening and stretching all of our major muscle groups. So make sure that you find a teacher who could really emphasis the health benefits if that's what you are looking for in your tai chi set. And enjoy playing tai chi with your good tai chi instructor."
