"Non-classical heart attack patients. In typical in the medical field, if you have to evaluate a woman, especially one that suffers from diabetes, and she has some of the associated symptoms of a heart attack, it it increases your suspicion. These patients often do not have the classical signs of crushing chest pain, maybe because of a higher threshold in pain that these patient have, or the diabetics often suffer a neuropathy, or a loss of sensation in feelings in where they're going to be able to detect the pain that's often is caused by having a heart attack. This usually occurs because the high levels of blood sugar causes damage to the distal nerve endings and capillaries, often where the body first detects that a problem occurs, as in the heart muscles that die from a heart attack."
