Straw Hat Fashion Design

"The next hat style is a straw hat. A straw hat is like a sun hat but not as floppy. Basically they are so common I can even take are reference for you. A straw hat is going to have a band usually around in a contrasting fabric. I drew mine in stripes and I have drawn the brim of it as being down because it is going to be used as like a sun shade when you are mowing the lawn or think of it as Panama Jack even though it is not the right type of hat but easy to draw. What I've done is I've colored it in with map pencils and then in order to show that it is made out of straw I have drawn those lines, those aren't shade lines these are showing what material, what texture it is. I only put them on part of it because you don't ever want to be too literal in your budget drawing, that is why I did it like that and that shows that's why I just did it like that and then that shows that it is a straw hat."
