"Now the counter is very important because it is what lets you get ready to record something so say let's bring in a software instrument. We will bring in a hip hop kit so we bring in this hip hop kit, actually you know what, put this one back. We'll bring in a hip hop kit and then we'll play something by opening up our musical typing and try to record something. Maybe just something simple like this so when we press record it doesn't really start from the very beginning so what we want to do is make sure that we go to our control and count in so that when we press record it gives us the bar before we start so we can hit it right on the one. This is very important for when recording tracks so usually what you want to do is just make sure you have count in on all the time."
