"Let's make sure that we know what we're talking about when we're talking solitaire. The typical type of solitaire everyone knows consists of a board, or a tableau that has seven columns on it, right? It looks like this. Does this look familiar yet? It's dealt like that, and then you have these cards left. The cards that are left are called the stock. When you flip one over, this is called the waste pile. And when you move one up here, or if you want to play it down here, this is called the foundation. So its stock, waste, tableau, foundation. Those are the four elements of the typical solitaire game."
