It's a very fruitful business and it's in a fast growing industry. Actually anyone can open a laser hair removal business, however to actually control the machine you do have to be certified. You have to go through some training. Also you have to have a medical director on staff. It depends on what state you're in, sometimes the medical director has to be there at all times, sometimes they can be off of the facility and just available for emergencies. Then you want to purchase a laser. Laser's right now are about 60 to 100,00, you can pay cash for them of course, but many individuals do choose financing for that. You also want to make sure that your entire staff is trained on these. The certification for them is not very expensive and it doesn't take very long so make sure that they know what they're doing and you're whole facility is safe and ready to go. Then of course you want to establish your business, you want to look into the state licensing requirements, the permits, your occupational licenses. You want to develop a business plan; a good strong business plan. And then from there you want to open your doors. Look into marketing, advertising, have a party.
