"There are so many wrinkle creams out there. How do we know which one is the best? Hi, I'm Keeley Selvage with Keeley's Skin Solutions. I've been a clinical aesthetician for over half a decade, and I'm going to help you compare some anti-aging wrinkle creams. The effectiveness of wrinkle creams depends much on the amount and the active ingredients that are in the product. So I'm going to give you a few ingredients to look for that are going to cause slight to modest improvements in the skin. One of them is named Retinol. Retinol is a vitamin A derivative and it's a very strong and potent anti-oxidant. An anti-oxidant basically keeps your skin from oxidizing. You know when you put the lemon juice on an avocado or on a banana to protect it, keep it from turning brown, that's exactly what an anti-oxidant does for our skin, so that's a very important one. Another one would be acids. You can look for hydroxy acids, glycolic acids, acidified amino acids. These are going to be exfoliating your skin on a regular basis which is also very important with anti-aging. Another one you can look for is copper peptide. We all need copper peptide in our skin in order for our skin to be able to rejuvenate itself and be healthy and plump, which is definite, a definite need for anti-aging. So these are some things that you want to look for when you're comparing anti-aging wrinkle creams. I'm Keeley Selvage with Keeley's Skin Solutions and that is how you compare anti-wrinkle creams."
