"Hi, my name is Lauren, and I'm here to discuss, how to cure dandruff. There are two types of dandruff. There's your pityriasis, which is usually just a little bit more of an itchy scalp, and a little bit of white flaking, and then you have your seborrhea dermatitis. What that is, is a little bit more of a higher grade form of dandruff. Usually, the person has greasy or very oily hair, and it's not so much as flaking, but actually scaling, and like you actually get a little bit more of a larger flakes, and scales of your skin that are coming off, rather than just minor flakes, like dandruff will bring. In order to try and quell both of the types of dandruff, I would recommend using a dandruff shampoo.Shampoos that are formulated for dandruff, usually have 1% pyrithione zinc in it, which is actually an aid in helping dandruff persist. Another good thing that you can do, are home remedies, like boiled water with tea leaves and lime. That will actually help control, you're going to let, allow your boiled water to cool, sieve out the tea leaves, and then use it in just, almost as a rinse in your hair, when you're in the shower. You can also use a hot tea tree oil therapy, and also the lemon juice and cosmetic vinegar, will also help your scalp, and it will help it kind of nourish itself, and balance out the PH, and prevent your hair, from having dandruff and flaky skin. Another good thing to do, is to watch your diet, and make sure you're eating very well rounded, and also maintaining low stress levels, or at least a healthy stress level. Stress can add to the persistence of dandruff, and in order to stop everything, you need to really have the well rounded diet, and low stress level. With that, plus your topical shampoos, then your pityriasis should no longer last. If these formulas do not work for the higher end of your dandruff, then I would suggest consulting a doctor, and seeing if there is anything that they can do medicinally, in order to prevent your dandruff from continuing, and that is how to cure bad dandruff."
