"Hi. My name is Lauren. I'm here to discuss how to use hair curlers. When curling your hair with hair rollers or curlers, you're going to want to get an assortment of different sizes. The different sizes that you can get actually help you get a natural curl look to your hair. You're either going to want to do this on wet hair and allow your hair to dry, or you're going to want to do it on dry hair. If you are doing it on dry hair, I do suggest that you use a hot roller or hot curler rather than the regular. If you are just looking to sleep on it and have your hair dry that way, then you're going to leave it in. I'm using Velcro rollers in order to do this. You're going to pick out your diameter of the curler that you would like to use. And then, you're going to choose a section that's about the same diameter of what you're using. You're going to want to ultimately put it in half of what your roller is. So you're not going to want to grab that large of a section, because you're going to want this hair to fit on the roller. With using Velcro rollers, you're simply going to put the Velcro roller underneath the hair, press the hair down a little bit, and then pull it out. Velcro rollers are very, very simple for you to put in, because the Velcro enables your hair to actually stick to the Velcro roller. And then you're juts going to go through and roll it. You can roll in different directions depending on which way you want your hair to flow and which way you want your curl to go. Now, another way to use this is if you don't use Velcro rollers, and you use a regular roller. Regular rollers so not have the stick action that Velcro rollers do. So you're going to simply raise the hair up. Raising your hair up will also help you increase volume. Push down, and you're going to roll it in between your fingers. Once you get down to the base of your scalp. You're going to use a curler clip and clip it onto your hair, in order to secure it. Normally, you would use a setting lotion, if your hair is wet. And this is if you're trying to get more of a curly look. And if your hair is dry and you're using hot rollers, I would still spray it with maybe a hairspray or something, just so that way, the curl really sets and you can keep your style throughout the day. And that is how to use curlers."
