"Ok today I'm going to tell you a little bit about how you become a fishing guide. Now first of all what you want to do, you decide you want to become a fishing guide, what you want to do is have experience. You need time on the water, do a lot of fishing. Get to know as much as you can about fishing, read about books, spend a lot of time on the water. And keep a diary of how you fish, how you caught fish and then when you feel you are good enough, you know all the aspects, there are guide schools out there. There's a few of them out there, so you can go on the internet and find out, Google fishing guide schools and there plenty of great schools out there. And they are going to teach you how to interact with people. They're going to teach you how to cast, how to function as a guide. And that's your best route because the hardest way to get a job in guiding is to go without any schooling. They are going to take somebody that has schooling before they have the layman off the street. Cause you know, even though you may have the knowledge they would prefer somebody who's schooled. So that's how you would go about becoming a guide."
