"Hi I'm Kelli I'm an aesthetician and makeup artist at Ulta Salon and cosmetics. And I'm going to talk to you a little bit about what permanent makeup is. Basically permanent makeup is basically like a tattoo. Basically a lot of people can get either your eyebrows tattooed on, eyeliner or lip liner. Before doing this process you want to make sure you definitely research who you are going to. Making sure that the person is fully trained and licensed to do permanent makeup. Because if it's not done right it's just like a tattoo and your stuck with it for the rest of your life and you have to go through a series of laser treatments and stuff like that to get it fixed. If they can even fix it. So definitely make sure, you want to make sure that you research who you go to. And if it's done right it can last for a pretty long time but you might need a touch up just like a tattoo has a tendency to kind of fade or the line could kind of shift and kind of break up. So you want to definitely think about all those before you look into getting some permanent makeup done. Lip liner is not as popular as it has been in the past. Because it does kind of leave a little bit of a permanent liner on there so you always have to wear a lipstick. But brows are really popular, a lot of women either getting up in age are losing their brows, or going through chemo like to do the brows to fill them in. And eyeliner has been really popular too. So just definitely research your aesthetician and make sure they are licensed to do permanent makeup before you go to get your permanent makeup done.
