"Hi, this is Jessica Clair with New York Dating Coach in New York City. In this clip, we're going to talk about how to end an affair. First of all, I think a clean break is always necessary in an affair. The more time gets spent sort of trying to get out of it or talking about getting out of it, the less likely you are to actually break it off. And secondly, it's always important to make a clean break and then to discuss, of course, who knows about this affair and who doesn't. I think if both parties aren't satisfied with the ending, really dirty things can be done later on that will hurt your current relationship. Talk to the person about why you're ending the affair. Talk about who they've told, who they intend on telling, and make sure to keep a friendship alive. Resentment and anger will almost always lead to a tragic sort of bad situation. So clarify your reasons, talk about who knows and who doesn't, who's going to know and who won't, and why it's ending. This is Jessica Claire with New York Dating Coach."
