"Hi, this is Jessica Claire with New York Dating Coach in New York City. In this clip, I'm going to give you some general blind dating tips. Number one, be prepared for it to suck. Blind dating is a kind of thing that if you...if you know nothing about the person at all, it's not necessarily always likely to go well. Just imagine a group of 10 women or even 100 women. 20 percent of those women are going to be immediately unattractive to you. You're going to toss them to the wayside no matter what, whether it's a physical, you know, unattraction or a mental one. Now, another 20 percent of those women are going to be immediately attracted...attractive towards you, whether you think...whether they do anything bad or not, you're going to want them right away. So there's a 60 percent window where things could go really well or things could go really badly. And blind dating almost always falls in that category. So know that you can sort of take things the way you want to. Also, a blind date should be short and quick. Coffee or ice cream is the most time you want to spend with someone.
