"Hello my name is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg in Miami, Florida with Miami Dog Training. In this clip we're going to talk about backyard dog kennels. Now there's a couple different ways of doing things. For one we have a building here air conditioned and insulated and we can keep crates in there for dogs that really are susceptible to heat especially living here in Florida. And we keep crates in this building which allows us to keep the dogs safe at night and out of the elements. Another alternative to that is something like we have over here which is an outside pen, an outdoor pen which we have a doghouse in and we've got a roof to protect it, we've got a tarp up there to protect it from the rain from coming down on them and we've got a doghouse provided inside here. Now ideally the doghouse should be lifted off the ground just a bit so that they don't have to, in case of flooding at any point they don't have to be sitting in water. Once again this is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training."
