"And, this hairstyle is a ponytail. And, again we still want to capture some sort of movement so it gives your croquis more life and more attitude. I'm all about the attitude. You'll hear me say that a zillion debillion times. But, it's all about the attitude. This looks like she just shook her ponytail out and just sick of it. So, the best way to do that is again start with your part. Always start with the part. That gives you a frame of reference. And, then make a decision how high you want the ponytail to be and make a definite mark where you want it to be. And, then start drawing your ponytail. Like, you can look in the mirror. Flip your hair, if you have long hair and see which way the hair goes. And, then visualize that while you're drawing it. Because, you want it to be as life like as possible."
