"Now aside from being really useful for the meat the milk the compost. The goats are extraordinary entertaining and fun to have around. Now that just might sound incidental but for a farm like ours that represents and added value to this crop. People actually come to the farm just to interact with the goats. They have great personalities their sociable their smart their energetic and extremely acrobatic. Some people could sit around and watch these guys all day long and I should add that their scaled for a homestead so if you have just a backyard farm or a little perma culture operation you may not have capacity to raise cow or a hog and yet these goats they might weigh a hundred or two hundred pounds. The amount of mild and meat they give is a moderate and works really well for a family or a homestead or even a small neighborhood. As you can see the goats represent the ultimate homestead animal.
