"Hi, this is Todd, and this is my assistant, Ryan, and he's going to show you how to do a scarecrow catch. A scarecrow catch is a catch; it's another blind catch behind your back, but it's a little bit different, cause' you want your arm to be straight. Now, the way I like to train people on how to do a scarecrow catch is I like to bring the Frisbee right around their shoulder, and have them come up. Now, Ryan's trying to look as far as he can with his eyes; to keep his eye on that Frisbee for as long as possible before you go up for the catch. Also, it's very important to bend at the waist. If you have a straight back, it's it makes the catch a lot harder, so if you bend your waist a little bit to go at it, that would be a little bit easier. So to set it up for me, I would catch it here, and bending at the waist. And again, practicing, bend at the waist, there is the catch. Set it up, there's the catch, scarecrow catch, scarecrow catch, scarecrow catch. You can catch it when it's a little bit higher; you actually have to get up a little bit higher, or you can catch it really low, and just bend your knees a little bit."
