"Hi, in this series we're going to talk about nail delays, and how to set up a Frisbee. It's very important to get all your basics down first, like all your trick throws, and all your trick catches. So you can play Frisbee for a lot of, a long, long time, just doing trick throws and trick catches, but if you really want to bring it to the next level the main thing that you should learn is what they call a nail delay. And a nail delay is spinning it on your fingernail. We'll talk more about that in a little while. But one of the most important things to do before you start to do a nail delay is you want to be able to put a little bit of silicone on it. This is the type of silicone I use. A little bit in the center, a little bit around the rim, and a little bit on the top. This reduces friction, so it makes a nail delay actually possible. If you have a very dry Frisbee the Frisbee’s not going to be able to spin on your nail. So you want to wipe it off like that, which makes it, the, really reduces the friction with your nail and the plastic, and with sets, it's also a nail delay to either a set catch or a set trick."
