"As many of you may know, kittens are born with their eyes closed. And anywhere from a week to two weeks they open their eyes. These kittens are three and a half to four weeks old, so you can see that their eyes are wide open and they are ready to interact with their environment by sight. That means that they can see things and chase things, you can also see that they're ability to walk is, although not perfect, kind of like a toddler child or a two or three year old. So they can walk around and they can even sort of skip around and run and hop at this age. This is an age where they are very cute and lively. As far as hearing goes these kittens have, would have almost perfect hearing after a few days of age. And also for smell. Kittens who are very newborn have a very good sense of smell pretty quickly because smelling danger and spoiled food is important to their survival, smelling predators. So here are these three and a half week old kittens, their vision is great, their hearing is good and they are able to walk around and interact with their environment very nicely."
