Right now, I'm going to help Mai Lee get rid of some of these mats and clumps that she's accumulated over time before she came here. So I'm going to try a couple of different brushes. We're going to try this little rake, see what we can get out. That's not really helping very much, it's not catching those clumps the way I'd like it to. So we'll have to go to a different type of a brush. And I'm going to try this one with the teeth on it, and see if we can get a little farther there with this one, with the teeth. And you can see how it's lifting up the clumps of hair, but it's not really getting to the problem. And you can see there's a lot of hair there, but the mats are still on the cat. So I think it's time for us to use the mat comb. This is a special comb, and it actually inside has sharp blades here that are going to help cut through those mats. This is dull here, so it won't hurt your kitty, but this inside will cut those mats out. So we're going to give that a try. Hold on, Mai Lee, let's see if we can get these mats out for you. Here we go. And you can see how the comb is catching those mats. Oh! Here it comes, good kitty. Oh. And as we would persist, you can see there's a mat in there. And it's just going to take some time and patience to help Mai Lee get rid of all these mats.
