"Matsyasana, Fish Pose. According to yoga text this pose reverses the aging process. So something to download. So we're going to start in a supine position and it becomes somewhat of a Back Bend but, actually the Back Bend comes in the thoracic part of the spine. So it's from the upper part of the spine. So she's going to take both of her hands under her hips. Yup, she's going to roll them under. And then she's going to begin to bend her knees and so I had a thread here and so she's going to, "I'm sorry, not your knees, your elbows". A thread lifting her up, lifting her up and then she's going to rest on the crown of her head. So the work is in her arms, in the thoracic part of her spine, so she's drawing her shoulder blades together. It’s not on her head, she needs to protect her neck. This is a wonderful pose to activate and balance the thyroids and para-thyroids. She needs to use and press the legs down so that's going to help and support this pose for her. Even though that she looks like she's upside down, the shoulder blades are still descending always away from the ears."
