"Okay, the next part you're going to want to do once you have all your ironing done, all your squares are cut is to find a nice big spot on the floor and this is a fun part to have the kids try to help you with as long as they old enough not to know not pick them up when you're not ready to. You want to go ahead and start laying them in rolls or in blocks however you're going to want to do them and just keep piecing it together until you get it all how you want it. This usually takes by I'll suggest playing with it a lot because generally the first way I put it isn't how I leave it. I usually decide I like it a different way instead. You could always put strips together like this and then make the rest of the blanket down this part or you could do them around the edges if you have a whole lot of skinny strips like from pants or sleeves. You tend to get the skinner strips. The big blocks are nice to fill in the rest of it. Be aware. You don't want to put too many stretching materials together. It's kind of nice if you could put other stuff in between and you don't want to put anything that might bleed onto lighter colors because that always lead to disaster so be careful."
