"Now we're going to add some highlights to our background layer. If we look at our screen here we can see that we have everything that we needed. We have some black outlines. We've added a little bit more fade in the background and stuff like this. What we're going to do now is we're going to add some highlights to this text. So what we're going to do is we're going to come up here and we're going to create an all new layer. So let's close this up. Oops, let's not get out of our program here. Create a brand new layer here. What we're going to do is, we're going to have a layer mask in this one. We're going to click our layer mask like so. And we're going to go into our brush tool, and we're going to hit X to switch between our black and our white. We're going to use white for this. And what we're going to do is, we're going to actually. First what we need to do, is we need to create how we're going to do this. So what we're going to do, is we're going to come down here and we're going to shift click our. I'm sorry. Command click this. That's going to select our type like so. And if we hold down our Shift command, we'll click each layer in turn all the way down, except for our background layer here. Now we're going to hit Command H to hide the selection. We know we've got it selected, so now we've got it hidden. So let's come back up to this layer here, like so. And with our white text selected, we're going to come through here and we're just going to paint in some highlights. Just in different lines and stuff, to give it. Here this is a good place to go, because it's going from a light green to a nice highlight here. And what we're going to do here is we're just going to create a lot of different highlights in this area, so we can give it that bright effect. And add more texture to our program here. So what we're going to do is we're going to stop here, and we're going to pick this up in the next part."
