"What I'll be performing here is the dumbbell upright rows. This is a good exercise for the overall shoulder. The top, side and the front and the back. What you want to do is have your palms facing towards you. Bring the shoulder, all your elbows and shoulders should be aligned. Control the weight coming down. When you bring the dumbbells up, you want to make sure you flex to your shoulders. And, again control the weight coming down. You want to do about three to four sets of this exercise, about eight to ten reps. You don't want to fling the weight up, it can cause injury. Keep good posture. Keep your abs flexed, your chest up. Your motion should be steady, not too fast not too slow. And, that's how you do the dumbbell upright rows."
