Summary: Adding the Bosu Ball for oblique crunches enhances the effectiveness of normal oblique exercises. Learn to do the oblique crunch core exercise with the Bosu Ball using tips from a fitness trainer in this free exercise video.
"This functional core exercise using the Bosu is the oblique crunch. Now we're really going to focus on those side areas, so if you've got love handles, this is for you. So just come on down to your side on the dome area of the Bosu. Just place your hips right up next snuggly to it, and then place this forearm on the dome area of the Bosu. Take your top hand, place it behind lightly on your head, and then you're going to lift up, and it's a very small movement to engage those oblique?s, and then just kind of come down. Exhale as you lift up, inhale as you lower. Exhale up, inhale lower. Now as you're doing this try not to use this arm to push you up. Think about really lifting up through those oblique?s and then coming right back down again. Now if you want a fuller range of motion, extend this arm and then bring it back. Exhale up and inhale back. Those are your oblique crunches on the Bosu."
