"This next functional core exercise is called Four Point Balance. This exercise is really great for focusing on strengthening the core but also for working on your balance. We call that Proprioception. And that's just a fancy word to, where your body is able to pull its self into balance when you've been knocked out of balance. So all you need to do is come on down to your mat or the floor. You want to have your hands directly underneath your shoulders , your knees underneath your hips into a strong foundational tabletop position. And now, just take your right arm out, your left leg out in opposition. And you want to really think about lengthening out through the crown of your head creating a nice, long spine. And creating a nice, long arm length and leg length. Hold that for just a second or two and come on down and switch sides. And really lengthen here. And just breathe naturally. A modification to this exercise would be to extend your opposite arm, opposite leg and then bring your arm and leg out diagonally and then bring it back to center. And switch sides, and that really works that center. Balance and then you can just relax. And that is your Four Pointe Balance."
