"In this clip, we're going to talk about tarantula's basic care. Now it's very simple to take care of a tarantula. But there's a couple of things that you need to make sure to do. So that your tarantula stays happy and healthy. So once you've got your enclosure ready. And your tarantula is nice and comfortable. Where do you put that aquarium? Well, if you've chosen a room in your home that has a window. Make sure that the blinds are closed, or curtains are drawn. Because we don't want our tarantula in direct sunlight. Direct sunlight can be very stressful to your tarantula. Because remember it's a nocturnal species. So these animals are active in the evenings and not at, during the daylight. So if you have open window. Make sure to move your tarantula's enclosure, outside of that area, of the direct sunlight. So as to not stress your animal. Other considerations that you might need to make, is temperature. Temperature is very important for a tarantula. Most tarantulas are going to be found in dessert or tropical habitat. So that means that their humidity is going to be very high. And the temperature is going to be a lot higher, as well. So if you have a cold area like your basement. That's probably not the best place for your tarantula to live. But if you have a warmer area, upstairs in your den or in your bedroom, you can definitely keep them in there. Now if your only choice is to have them in a cooler area, there's a couple of things that you can do. Purchasing heat rocks or heat pads and or lights that are low spectrum, can definitely work to help your tarantula. And also, if they're humidity lover, you need to mist down. Just spraying regular tap water that is sat out for about a day. To de-chlorinate it. Spray that water, onto the soil or substrate. That you've chosen for your enclosure. Not spraying directly onto your tarantula."
