"OK, we are going to take an old tank top, and we're actually going to turn it into a beach bag. So I have a really cute top here that is an old maternity top that I gave to Mabe and she loved the top, she can't wear it anymore. So we're going to make it into a bag for her. You want a tank top that's got some nice open straps. Those are going to be the straps for your bag. And that has a bottom edge. You can have one with or without a seam. You're going to need some ribbon. I found some cute ribbon to match. Also, you'll want some appliques. Different ones. These have beads, and then you want a solid one that we're going to use to seal the bottom. You're going to need an iron, a pair of scissors, safety pin, and then you're going to want some fabric glue or some tacky glue. You're also going to want to have some accessories handy. If you want to add those, like buttons, additional ribbon, any other kind of little pins that you can add to decorate your tank top since we're taking it from a tank top to a beach bag."
