Hello, my name is Rocky Gillis, I'm with the Broward County Athletic Association and offense, defense football camps. In this clip I'm going to give you a few tips on how to become a better football player. One of the first things that we'll work on here with Mason and Pierre, is working on agility. O.k, first, one of the first things we'll do is we'll go here to what we call the line touch drill. Guys if you would start here on the middle, in the middle and we're going to go side to side. This is important because we start dealing with lateral movement. You get down in position and we're going to do a line touch, going to both sides. Go. You'll notice these guys are staying low, keeping their shoulders square to the line of scrimmage, and going through the drill. That's one of the key elements in developing lateral movement. The next thing we're going to work on will be foot work, or foot speed. On this ladder drill, we'll practice on getting quick feet, we're going to be putting one foot down in each square. Notice the good form, high knee action, running form as they progress through the ladder. The next drill that we'll work on is one that practices agility. Come out here guys and we'll start talking about, this agility drill is one of the ones that we practice and we try talking about being able to be knocked down, getting up, never staying down. Two point seat roll. O.k, and they're going to do this together. Please face this way, face this way, alright. And, the way it goes it ready, feet, hit. Very good! This is Rocky Gillis, thank you for watching!
