"Hey! It's Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert here to tell you a little bit about the brief history of Apple Computer Corporation. Now, check this out. Started by a couple of buddies in high school, now they were considered the dorks, the geeks, go figure in 1971. We like to call them the Steves, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. Decided to tinker around in their garage and came up with the Apple 1, the first generation of the Apple computers. Now, this was basically just some RAM, a motherboard in a textual video chip, meaning of course, it just played text and things like that, so you could enter in some basic code, you type it, it happens. Now, they had another buddy inside of their little consortium, a gentleman by the name of Ronald Wayne who made up the trio. You don't hear about him much because he decided to sell out his shares and what was to become Apple Corporation for the massive amount of $800, oops! He was replaced by a third partner who co-signed the loan, $250,000, to get the corporation off its feet. Now, that first Apple 1, even before Apple Corporation was founded, sold for $666.66 and that was their first experiment in sending out something. Then they formed old Apple Corporation, it kind of funny that the reason that they settled on Apple as the name is, at the time their number one competition was, of course Bushnell's company Atari and APPAT, Apple becomes Apple alphabetically finds itself in front of Atari, just to get that little bit of an edge. You know like the guy who calls himself Triple A Pest Controls so he goes to the in front of everybody else in the yellow pages, whatever that may be. Obviously, this was the beginning of a, beginning of a beautiful relationship. In 1976, Apple Corporation was founded and as they say, history was made and they went on to create some incredible products like the Apple 2E, the first really, ready for this, Windows based, did I say that, computer, that's right. The actual concept of Windows in a gooier graphic interface, graphical user interface, was a creation of the Apple Corporation before what was to become the Windows Corporation took it over and became famous for it. That was a time when Apple Corporation was actually trying to struggle to find its way in the world and then it was when they decided to release the iPod really into the consumer market, and obviously that became a huge hit. People love these units and throughout the time they begin releasing computers, they design their OS10 software, the OS10 operating system rather, to go around with the custom created hardware and as of last as we turned into 2009, they've got into double digits with their market share. So, between Apple iPod, iPhone, the MacBooks, the MacBooks Pros, the G5s. It just doesn't stop. Apple is a, you know, as you could see in the movie, Forrest Gump, you could got a hold of that stock back in the early 80s. Well, you'd be living in a much bigger house right now.
