"It's Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert here. So you've got a Mac laptop, it's just not working for you and you got to get rid of it. Well, let me give you some tips on how to do that. First thing is to understand is just because a computer is broken to you, doesn't mean it doesn't have value to somebody else. In fact in it's very raw form you'd be surprised in how much gold is actually used in the manufacturing of computers. Now to get the very little bits of it out of there you've got to smelt and destroy and breakdown but for a lot of people broken to you is not broken to them. Things that are way beyond your ability, cost and desire to repair somebody else out there may have the spare parts kicking around and create a market for doing it or if what looked like these guys right here for you now sort of looks like this, now this is not a Mac here but it is has happened, it's pretty useless, obviously we're not going to be doing any playing any multi-player games on this computer at anytime soon but this one and especially the Macs have a lot of usable parts to other people in there. The hard drive, the processors, the RAM and who knows, people turn computers and make gadgets out of things all the time. So how do you get rid of it? Well the first thing is you got to sort of identify what's wrong with it so you can explain to people and give them an idea of what they're dealing with. Simply it doesn't boot up anymore or I ran over it with the back of my car. That'll help you decide how much you should ask for. Or consider just setting it up to bid on auction and when I say auction of course I'm talking about the major eBay sites whether that be Yahoo, Amazon or of course eBay. Hey and if you want to get rid of things, don't forget Craigslist, a free listing or some of the other local listing services out there. I believe FreeBay is a new one that's coming on town, it's literally for people who want to get rid of things that have no value to them and really not looking to make a buck off of it but are just trying to get into somebody else's useful hands. Personally being a pack rat it always kills me when something that I know could be useful to somebody else I throw away, I'd rather it see it get into good hands and a loving family. So don't just throw away any of those Mac products, there is a market for just parts or anything out there, check the Internet, send it up to auction, give it away for free like me, Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert saying stream you later."
