"Hey it's Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert here. And I often get asked, what do I do with my PC games now that I've got a Mac computer? Can I play them on it? Well I'm here to tell you you absolutely can and there's a couple of ways to go about doing it. Now a lot of us we're not born as Mac users, we changed over, I am a convert myself and they say there's no zealot like a convert and my opinion on Mac computers are well known, but I do like most people have a stockpile of 20 years worth of PC games that I've collected and I still enjoy playing from time to time. Now how can I play them on the game? How can I play them on my Mac? Well there's a couple of different ways to do this. One is to get an emulator program. Now that's a program that you'll install in your Mac computer and allows, think of it as a translator between your PC games and your Mac computer. When you purchase an emulator, on the box or on the manufacturer's website it'll list the type of games that it's programmed to transcribe or to translate rather. So it'll have a list, it'll say World of Warcraft, it'll say Doom, it'll say Spawn, it'll say whatever you're looking for. And those will play just those specific games and most of the manufacturers through updates will allow more of the more popular games to come along and be used. Another way is to, are you ready for this? To turn your Mac into a PC. Well sounds like sacrilege, how does that happen? Well there's a couple of ways that that happens. One is to use the bootcamp that comes part of Mac OS10 and you can find the bootcamp setup utility in your utilities folder which is inside your applications folder, inside of finder. And follow the instructions, it's very easy to do. All you need to do is have a clear license on Windows XP and you're ready to go. And what happens is when you start your computer up, it starts up as a Windows computer. Simple and easy. You install your games like you normally would and you're ready to go. Now there's another way to do it using a virtual machine. A virtual machine for Mac like from the manufacturer's VMWare Fusion or Parallels actually allows you to run Windows XP at the same time you're running Mac OS10, literally both computers. Well once you do that, you purchase their programs, easy to purchase right from their website, you load up again a clear license on Windows XP and then you can go ahead again and load your games. The difference is is that any moment you want to, you can shuffle back and forth between your normal Mac OS10 to take a note, send an e-mail and then get back to playing your favorite game. So easy to do, remember as a general rule Mac plays well with PC, PC, not so much, but I play well with everybody because I'm Rokosz your digital lifestyle expert saying stream you later."
