"Hi this is Jennica from Pet Planet at Riverton, Utah. We are going to be talking about what not to feed a chinchilla. You actually don't want to feed a chinchilla anything too high in protein that can cause bodily problems. You don't want to feed them anything too fruity or sweet like fruits or baby carrots or corn. Good things that you can feed your chinchilla are actually these chinchilla pellets. It has got fiber that they need, the plant protein. It has got vitamins and stuff in it that is good for them. You can also feed them this Timothy Hay or orchid grass that helps them digest their food and also gives them more minerals and vitamins that they don't get from their actual food. You want to feed this to them about once a week. Other things that you can feed them are green leaf vegetables are also good for them. If you have any more questions please contact us at petplanetriverton@gmail.com."
