"Let me give you a few key steps on how to get your portfolio together when looking to get in to the modeling industry. Hi, my name's Jena Hartman owner of PromoZone Live here in Tampa, Florida. As an agency owner I want to give you a few key steps on putting together your portfolio. First and foremost you can contact local photographers in your area. And kind of see their previous work and talk to other models and talent that they've worked with. When you are set with a photographer, you can either go through, you can get your photographer through the agency or you can get it independently. When you have a photographer and you set up your shoot date, you want to make sure your proms prepared and have all of the items that you need prepared ahead of time. Now, after you've completed your shoot you want to choose the photos that best suit your personality, character, talent and looks, making sure your hair is healthy, teeth are white skin is clear. Now, also keep in mind when you print out the photos, for your portfolio, having a portfolio book, on the front side and back side of each page you'll have images that will represent you as a model and talent. Now on there when you're taking these to the casting agent and agencies, this is your first impression, so make it good. Along the way you'll add insert sheets and experience and print type work. So you can insert in there to show your experience. Now get out there and make those portfolios good and get them in to agencies' hands. We want to hear from you. My name's Jena Hartman, owner of PromoZone Live, an agency here in Tampa, Florida and that was how to make a portfolio for a model."
