"Hi, I'm Donna Barnes, life and relationship coach here in New York city, and the author of It's All About You. The advice that I want to give to teenage girls about dating, is first of all, be true to yourself. I hear a lot of teenage girls say to me, but all the boys want, is sex. Well, that's right, that's because they're young and their hormones are raging and of course, that's what they want. But that doesn't mean that you need to give it to them. So and be true to yourself, only do what is comfortable to you, and it doesn't matter. Because here's the thing, if you just do something that a boy wants you to do. Because he wants you to do it, and you're not comfortable with it. Then it's going to ruin that experience for the rest of your life. And it's going to give you a reputation, that whole reputation thing, but it's true. He's going to go and tell all his friends because he's just going to be so excited that, that happened. And then his friends are going to go ooh, she's willing to do that? And then you don't know whether they're interested in you or they just want to do that. So be true to yourself and don't do anything that you're not comfortable with."
