"Hi, I'm Merrilee, and today I'm going to show you how to make toffee covered popcorn. We've started with one stick of butter, which is about eight tablespoons, and all we're adding is a quarter of a cup of white corn syrup, and a half a cup of brown sugar. And all that's required is that we heat this to the point where it's very easy to be mixed together, and it won't take very long at all, because once the butter and the corn syrup is all warmed, it doesn't take long at all for the sugar to melt itself in to the rest of the mixture. So all we're required to do is get this melted all together, and then we'll drizzle it over our popcorn, and be ready to go. And we are almost there. It's a nice, rich looking toffee color. Alright, now the sugar is all liquefied, just mix it up just a little bit more with the butter. Oops. There we go. We're going to just toss it with the popcorn, and you might want to grab some napkins, and maybe a cloth or two, because this is a very sticky treat. So lot's of napkins ready for your guests. And there you go, and that is how you make toffee popcorn."
