"Now we are going to learn how to create a light saber from Star Wars in Photoshop so I have just gone on Google once again and I just found a photo of a light saber handle and I am going to go and start a new document as well. Make it a website at 1024 X 769 and that is good. Fill in the background black and I am going to click on this layer and drag it across and I am just going to do a rush and use the magic wand tool, click on he white area and delete and that should give us a nice cut out and now I am going to go to free transform and bring it down and rotate it a little bit like that, there we go. We have got our light sable handle. Now of course the most important part is the goya or the blade I should say so I am going to go to round rectangle tool and shapes and select wide, about a 10 radius should be good to make sure it is the fuel shaped tool. After all we have got to make it a little bit thin to start as it is going to be the core of it. I am going drag the light underneath the base so it is like it is protruding and now I am going to restorize this shape so I can see what I am doing. Now let's go to layer style and go to color and give it a bit more of a glow coming out and more of a spread and let's make it a color shall we of blue that would be nice. Now I am going to duplicate that layer again a couple of times just to kind of line that up and as you can see it looks quite nice now. Like I say there is plenty of different ways you can do a photo and you can work on it a little bit more and you can always kind of cut out a bit of the bottom of the light saber handle to kind of give it the illusion that it is clicking out from it like that, however you want and there you go that is how we create a light saber in Photoshop."
